Recently, I've acquired a new hobby I absolutely love; Photography. Although, it's not what you might think. I'm not talking digital, I'm talking about good old film. Now I've messed around a bit with my little brothers 35mm camera from the 80's, but I've started taking a beginning photography class which required us to have a 35mm SLR. I ended up buying my own and since have taken about 6 rolls of pictures with it. It's not that I don't like digital, I loooove digital; it's just something about the aesthetic of film prints that I can't get over. It gives off a certain feel when looking at pictures, a feel that I can't get from looking at pictures from a digital camera. Anyhow, I'll be posting blogs of my rolls every time I get them developed. Be sure to check back for more film posts =D

For the second part of my birthday weekend, the wifey and our friend Jackie threw a surprise party for Me and the homie Kris, who also had the same birthday. I had a lot of fun. thanks to all that came out. Peep some pics below, and the rest after the jump.

This past weekend was my 23rd birthday, there were a couple events that the wifey lined up for me in honor of it. One of the surprises was a trip to the San Diego Wild Animal Park. Even though it was hella hot, and I got stung by two bees one right after the other, I had a great time. The park was amazing, and being able to see the animals in a more open environment was siick. Last Thursday before class, I met up with a couple GRV homies, Charlene, Jaledia, and Big Jeff. We met up in Alhambra for some pho and yogurt. After that, grabbed some S-bux w/ the wifey. Peep the pics below..
Yesterday was preetty chilll.. Met with the homie PRO for some lunch at California Pizza Kitchen to chill and talk about future business. Afterwards, headed over to Mt. SAC for school. I was kinda excited as it was my first class in over a year and a half. Really glad to be back in school to learn new/more things. After class, headed over to Genki Sushi to have some dinner with the GRV fam. Got a few pics, peep em below.
This past weekend was pretty eventful..
Friday, had a little lunch(man)date with the homies, Chai & BigJeff. We headed over to Buffalo Wild Wings to get our grub on, then checked out Inglorious Basterds, that movie was the SH***T. Tarentino never lets me down.
Saturday, I joined the GRV fam for a TV Taping Fundraiser. We headed out to Hollywood to check out Family Fued, it was pretty cool/fun. Afterwards we headed over to Roscoe's to grab us some chicken and waffles.
Later in the evening, I went out to stanton to check out the wifey model at a GirlsGoneGraff event. I've never been to one so I wasn't sure what to expect. It turned out to be pretty chill though; there were a lot of dope pieces. Here's a few pics from the event...
